Traditional music has often enriched more serious forms of the art with fresh material, new tunes and harmonies, rhythms, musical instruments, means of expression, and so on. In today’s concert we will see how the traditional music of Hungary and eastern Europe influenced such composers as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms.
