Images of ancient theatres and stadiums and images of Constantinople from the multi – used neighborhoods and Vosporos, as well as from the Church of the Holy Saviour in Chora (Kariye Müzesi) and Sancta Sophia. Byzantine icons with that tiny golden piece of mosaic that brightens the pain and illuminates the sweet at the faces of the Saints. A journey of soul with images of light thatPlaton Maximos from Constantinople captured, from 1970 until today, here in our country and at the opposite side of the Aegean Sea and are displayed at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. In order to know, remember, care, admire and understand the achievements of humanity during the centuries.
Precious testimonies through the lens of a modern traveler that watches the further route and preserves not only the image of an ancient theatre or a byzantine church with its surroundings, but also the feeling that emerges from those monuments and leads you to paths of dreaming and reenactment.

So, “Eis tin Polin” (to Constantinople) “Eu Agonizesthe” (fairplay) with 100 colorful photographs, of large dimensions (80Χ70), which are characterized by a pure ancient Greek and byzantine sense of light, are waiting to guide us at the big stage of History,from the 14th of February until the 14th of March 2012, at the Exhibition areas of Michael Cacoyannis foundation
