Campion School is proud to present the Greek premier of David Saar’s play, ‘The Yellow Boat’.  Winner of the Kennedy Center New Visions/New Voices Award and the American Alliance Theatre and Education Award, The Yellow Boat is based on the true story of Benjamin, an 8-year boy who was born with congenital hemophilia in 1987 and died of AIDS related complications.
This beautiful physical-theatre play celebrates the life of a courageous young boy who deals with the physical and emotional pain of his illness by creating colorful drawings and paintings. In this production, his artwork comes to life in the physical bodies of the actors, transforming his drawings into moving 3-dimensional images.

‘The Yellow Boat’ has performances on Thursday, April 7th at 4pm and Friday and Saturday, April 8th and 9th at 7:30pm. Tickets are €5 for students and €8 for adults.
