The renowned American tap dancer Heather Cornell dances at the Hellenic American Union with the Greek virtuoso tap dancer Thanos Daskalopoulos, with live music by leading representatives of the Greek jazz scene.

A tap dancer based in New York, Heather Cornell serves as an important mentor for many Tap Dance teams around the world. She is best known for the use of tap dance as a musical instrument. For 20 years she has been artistic director of the group Manhattan Tap – one of the top tap teams in New York City – and is a founding member of the musical show “Finding Synesthesia”, a work which offered the contemporary tap dance scene a variety of expressive means.

This event has been organized in cooperation with TapMotif.
