    Dear Susan,
We gave “X” BUSES link as an alternative when OSE & Proastiakos (Suburban) is striking (if this happens, then Metro is working only up to Doukissis Plakendias metro station and not to the Athens Airport). We do NOT have an announcement about strikes for Monday 4/2/13 morning so we expect everything to be running as usual. Please click on:
http://www.athenstransport.com/english/ to read a detailed description of all connections (plus X buses & metro) from the Athens Center and Piraeus to the Athens Airport and vice versa.
    Have a nice trip !

  2. Susan says:

When you list ‘Airport EXPRESS Bus Connections’….does this mean they are running…or striking? I need to get to the airport very early on Monday morning…leave Syntagma between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m.!! I sure hope they will be running!!!
Thanks so much for your updates! They sure are helpful :)
