One of our personal favorites when we are at the center is  ” TZITZIKAS & MERMIGAS ” (the cicada & the ant). Situated at 12 – 14 Mitropoleos str.  Syntagma , very near the metro station of Syntagma  and within walking distance from Monastiraki and Ermou str. which is ideal for shopping , it is the perfect place to go for lunch or dinner every day except Sundays.( tel. 210-3247607)

The atmosphere is warm and friendly , the service very efficient and the food…  well, go and taste for yourself ! We particularly like “the tzitzikas salad” , “domatokeftedes” ,” pougagia” (fyllo pouches) , vegetable mille – feuille , “sandorinio” pork , and a lot more.

Execpt for the center there are three more “Tzitzikas & Mermigas” located in Ano Patissia , Halandri and Kifissia.
