Die Zauberflöte/The magic flute
Greek National Opera |

The Magic flute, one of W. A. Mozart’s most famous operas, inaugurates the 2015/6 season at the Greek National Opera. The work will be conducted by George Petrou and Michalis Economou and directed by Arnaud Bernard.

The Magic flute is one of the most characteristic operas by Mozart, which works on many levels. It brings great joy to children and at the same time great pleasure to the adults, who enjoy the wonderful music and the symbolic story.

The production, which is staged by distinguished French director Arnaud Bernard, was first performed at the Greek National Opera during the 2010/1 season with great success. It is a performance of high aesthetics, which was critically acclaimed and was loved by the public.
